 Safety precautions to PROTECT against MRSA skin infectionsLike many school districts across the country, Cherry Hill is dealing with isolated cases of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). An estimated 30-50% of the population are carriers of the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. MRSA can be easily spread through direct contact or through indirect contact (such as touching a towel that was used by a person with MRSA). Handwashing is a key factor in reducing the risk. Click for additional safety precautions to guard against the spread of antibiotic-resistant staph infections. H1N1 Vaccination Clinics?The Cherry Hill School District is partnering with the Camden County Health Department to host H1N1 vaccination clinics on Thursday, December 10 at Cherry Hill High School East and Tuesday, December 15 at Carusi Middle School. The clinics, which will be held from 4-7 pm, will provide free H1N1 vaccinations for our students. Permission forms, fact sheets, and Q and A sheets will be distributed soon.
